Hi guys, Im thinking of doing a law conversion at uni. Can u do any undergrad degree and then do the GDL.

Yes! You can do any undergraduate degree you want before doing a GDL. All that you need to achieve, if you want to study at ULaw, is that you get a 2:2 🙂 If you need to get funding for the PGDL, there are several different ways that you can do this. Either you can do the MA Law (conversion) or MA (SQE 1) which will allow you to access SFE. Alternatively, if you wish to become a solicitor you can try and get funding from a firm by receiving a training contract or, if you want to be a barrister, you can apply to an Inn of Court for a scholarship.
