Publish a book?

How do we publish a book? Where to start? Who do we contact?
I have so many book ideas, I write in my free time. I would love to publish but I really do not know where to start.

Do you want to get publish through a traditional publisher and represented by a literary agent?
Or do you want to self-publish through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing?

Start looking at the social media postings of literary agents and other publishing professionals online.
Grow your brand as a writer.
Try to attend some of the largest publishing and literary events where those with tickets will be able to briefly meet with some of the professionals for 5-10 min chats or opportunities to hear their feedback.
