Please Help!! Volleyball Team, Middlesex University London

Hi I'm here to ask if anyone knows if someone outside the uni can join the volleyball teams? To add some context, the uni I want to go to is Point Blank Music School and this music uni has a partnership with Middlesex University. According to someone who was a ref at our game (apparently he coaches volleyball at Middlesex Uni), I asked him about clubs and mentioned that I can join the team because Point Blank Music School is in partnership with Middlesex.
I just want to confirm and understand more on this because I would really like to play for a Uni team.
