HCPC Registration International route 2024
I am presently pursuing a master's degree in the UK and am set to graduate in September 2024. I hold a previous master's degree in Counselling Psychology with 150 supervised practicum hours from my home country. Many applicants from my home country have successfully attained registration. However, I transitioned directly to the UK for another master's degree after completing my studies in counselling psychology, without the opportunity to gain post-graduation work experience in the counselling field. Does this lack of experience affect my registration prospects? Are there specific thresholds for work experience that I should meet?
