Buchanan Street Bus Station Bus Drivers

Have had multiple occurrences with aggressive coach drivers at the Buchanan Street bus station.
I hopped on the coach to Aberdeen with a pre booked ticket and my young Scot card in my wallet (which was in my hand). I showed the ticket on my phone, and he asks me to present my young scot card, so I put my phone back in to my pocket so I could undo my wallet which was in my left hand. Apparently this whole thing which took no more than 3 seconds was too long for the driver who just screams “SHOULD’VE BEEN READY BEFORE YOU GOT ON THE BUS”, to the point where passengers who were going up to the 2nd deck turned around and looked.

A few weeks ago, another guy on the bus to Cumbernauld decides to act dumb and aggressive when I told him where I was going.
Me - “Hi, I’m getting off in 2 stops”
Him - “Gives me a funny look and goes, mate where do you want to go?”
Me - “St James Road”
Him - “Now where exactly is ST JAMES ROAD!???”
Me - In 2 stops
Him - Scans me through shaking his head

Is every bus driver this grumpy? Why? I’ve never walked in to a McDonald’s or any fast food chain and seen cashiers acting like this.
