Hi SOAS is better for law because its research publications have been rated first in the UK and its School of Law is rated sixth in the UK - in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021. It's also great because the SOAS Law degree programme produces highly skilled graduates with global knowledge. In your first year you will learn the core elements and principles of the English legal system and legal principles from other countries, including Asia, Africa and the Middle East. In your second and third years you can undertake various distinct specialisms through a variety of optional modules including Legal systems of Africa and Asia, Islamic Law, Public International Law and Law and Justice in contemporary China. You also have the option to do an Independent Study project in your final year which is similar to a dissertation where you conduct in-depth analysis of particular subjects. All information about the course is here https://www.soas.ac.uk/study/find-course/llb-single-honours. SOAS is also a great location in the heart of London and its diversity of students means you have the chance to meet and make lifelong friends with people from all over the world.

Hope this helps and if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them

UoB. I'm a UoB LLB grad. Most law firms have low intake for non-Russell Groups graduates. If you go to UoB, you'll have better options post-graduation.
