Letter inviting to an Open Day?
Applied for MEng in Chemical Engineering at Nottingham.
I recieved letter today saying thanks for the app and befor we make you an offer we would like to invite you to a faculty open day some time in feb and that.
What does that mean? does it mean that they are actually conisdering giving me an offer? Do i HAVE to and should i go to the faculty open day?

It might be like a group interview thing? Especially if they haven't gave you an offer yet? If you're seriously considering going there then you should go and have a proper look at the department and stuff 
Maybe they just want to show you around before they consider an offer? Looks positive though

i dont think it mentions anything about the interview, but they did contact me like a week ago asking me to post them with fee status questionnaire and relevent documents to confirm fee status. Is that just general or would they go through that if they are actually considering to give an offer?
