Naked pic of my sister going round college :S

The police have better things to deal with than a randy 15 year old kid. If you make the threat there's really no need to carry it out. It should at least stem the flow of the picture, talk to the sister, if neccessary tell the parents. Otherwise at 15 years old you are not a child in the same sense that you are so unable to think for yourself that there is no justification but coercion for this.

My younger sister is 15 (still at high school) and sent a guy that's in my year at college a naked picture of herself :s-smilie:

It's now going round the whole college and loads of guys have seen it and have it on their phones and before I was known as the "shy boffin girl" but now I'm known as "the pornstars sister" :s-smilie:

I'm really embarrassed for her doing something so stupid and dumb but I don't know whether to tell our parents or not, do you think I should or is it normal for girls to send nude pics of themselves now? :s-smilie:

When does your sister turn 16. Has she been "sexually active" with a few guys from your college?

Umm why should the guy be in trouble, shouldn't the sister get arrested because she was the one sending child porn first.

Exactly my thoughts. Doesnt make sense to me how he would/should get any more punishment than her?

Touchy subject. I personally wouldn't tell your parents. Your sister would be overly embarrassed and could cause tension and arguments.

Talk to your sister about it. It's not normal for a girl to give out nude pictures of herself lightly, and I think perhaps maybe there might be something going on with her. As her older sister, I'm certain that she'd look up to you for support and advice more than anyone, and if anything, comfort. So talk to her, comfort her, and try and help her get past this - I remember what it was like being 15 (well, it really wasn't very long ago), it's hard! She needs your help right now.

I'd phone the police, the guy might not get in trouble for having it, but he will for sending it around.

Off the top of my head I can see the following possible, I repeat possible charges that could be brought up against them if it went that far in other words worst case scenario:

Girl:

Production/Creation of child porn

Distribution of that porn

If she still as a copy then they could be awkward and add in Possession of Images as well.

Guy:

Possession and Distribution

Anyone Else who as the image:

Possession and/or Distribution

Chances are if it was taken seriously by school, college and police/ parents then "Anyone Else" will just be let off with a generic warning as it would be mental trying to arrest or organise a court hearing for like several dozen teenagers.

But the girl and the main guy could probably end up being in more trouble. It depends on if parents (any of them, even if they aren't directly involved), the school/college or news complains enough to the police so that they have to do something other then a stern warning and a conversation with the guilty parties.

telling parents would be very harsh on her. Is she not going through enough misery and embarassment already??

The girl is underage so apparently the police want to wait to charge her properly, and the school sued her for creating pornography which was distributed around the school.

Admittedly, it does sound a bit ott...I heard all this from a girl who went to this school at the time, and i trust her. Maybe she is exagerrating a little bit...
