I think masturbation is allowed if it is preventing you from having intercourse. I don't know for sure though. If you actually WANT to wait, maybe you should fast more because that will take your mind off such things. Having a bf is hardly being a strict Muslim though so maybe you should see whether you don't want to masturbate because you feel as though you HAVE TO stay away from it, or because you WANT TO stay away from it.
