I tried for you, but got "We were unable to find an exact match to your full text article. It is possible the article is not yet available on our service. You may want to try your search again after following this tip." What was most infuriating about Keele was if you wanted anything in Nature - not exactly the most obscure journal, you'd have to go physically find the journals and photocopy them as they couldn't be bothered to have them online

Exactly. For my SSC last year I used about nine or ten articles from Nature. I had to go down into that dingy journal-containing basement, fish out each individual one and then photocopy them. Bleurgh.

Thanks for trying anyway, appreciated.

My lack of good access to journal articles is beginning to get irritating. Intercalating elsewhere just to get a better Athens account sounds more and more useful :p:

If anyone fancies sending me this article, I'd be thankful.

Our SFX can't fine full text. Sorry.

That's Nottingham and Newcastle that can't find it. I suspect it'll be a running theme.

Cheers anyway.

...and a ditto with Cambridge. Can I ask why you're looking for that paper? I suspect there are other papers published in journals with a greater impact factor (and therefore more widely available) that can provide a decent review on the the pathogenesis of MS.

It was just one of the broader papers I could find. I'm not necessarily after that one specifically.

Textbooks tend to be crap at giving an explanation for it. I assumed something more up to date would give a better picture.

I think I might dye my hair red tomorrow.

Why the hell not?
I dyed my hair bright red this week, using comic relief as a cover story. Genius!
I really want to dye my hair red but don't think it would suit me :frown:

I need to do something new with my hair though. I'm bored.

I'm already going for 8 weeks to work in a school, an extra two weeks might kill me :p: I think I'm gonna look into doing some travelling before I actually start the project though, anyone ever been to a nice place in south africa before?

Firstly it has great beaches (The Golden Mile as is is commonly known), something Joburg lacks  uShaka Marine world, take a rickshaw ride, if your adventurous you can dive with sharks, Durban has a big Indian population so your guaranteed a great curry, mmmn bunny chows . There is just so much to do and most of it revolves around the beach.

It sucks when you want to see and do so much in another country but time and funds prevent it

Haha, you didn't have to use so much time on it! I feel guilty.

I may have to join you as hopefully I don't need to be at the hospital/GP for a while as done them both this week. How bright?

Just avoid the port areas when you are on your own *cough* but the casino has a really cheap cinema! There is also a market on the beach on Sundays and then there is Gateway Mall which has a surfing wave machine in it XD

Generally across SA there are places you just do not go to on your own especially in the evening, as is the case in many countries. I take it you have been to Durban then? Gateway is HUGE and the wave machine is pretty cool.

Indeed, I was in a cheap hotel that I had to get my bags to. Fortunately it was midday when I walked there, but I had just enough to get a taxi when I returned there at night. I've been twice. We were volunteering in the suburbs but we got to stay in a hotel being refurbished on North Beach. Haven't been to Gateway, just heard of it. I went to Ushaka though and Zululand and other places I can't remember the names of!

That sounds really cool indeed. I'm going to have to see what funds are like and the exact dates my project runs on and also how to get everywhere. I'm pretty sure there will be time during the weekends to visit areas around White River/Pienaar with the people I'm on project with but I doubt I'll be able to go travelling before/after the project for more than a week or two, considering I'm not officially finished until a week before uni starts again.

Durban does sound interesting though. I'll definitely give it a think. I kind of also want to do the stereotypical safari as well otherwise I'll feel cheated :p: there's always another year though. I'm excited already  Thanks for all the help you and Lantana have given me, I've never really been travelling independently before and other than European countries the only place I've been to is Chicago so I'm going to get a huge culture shock.

For end of years I start about 1.5 months before the exam and go crazy(ish)?

But that's because I do barely anything throughout the year and have to learn things from scratch.

Ditto, I keep telling myself that but I'm in my 4th semester of med school and it hasn't changed yet
