bias in the media: far left extremists and communists trash london.....again

so why no mention of the 'far left' or 'communism' in the mainstream media?

the communist flags were flying everywhere during the recent protests in london.....

the violent rioters sprayed far left slogans like 'tory scum' on buildings.......

so, why is the british media so partisan?

Because this country is made up of millions of lazy, left-wing maggots who believe they're the center of the universe.

Every single person in this country should be embarrassed to be associated with these knuckleheads.

I don't necessarily believe the far left is as entrenched as the far right, except in the actions of students. The protests have got a lot of coverage, and if specific groups had been implicated the story would have had a lot more momentum.

The elite undermine all opposition by getting the people to fight amongst themselves.

im not politically affiliated, but i do notice a reluctance by the media to call out far left extremism--
which is made more obvious by the hysterical usage of the phrase 'far right'.

Because they were Anarchists............ :curious:

The march was in protest to cuts, organised by the unions and public sector workers. These people aren't lazy, lay-about lefties, hard working people, feeling hard done by.
These so called communists just tagged along because it's an excuse to behave like an animal.

The BBC is the tool of the government. Do you really think that news channels who report poorly about the situation in Palestine would give decent coverage for the left / far left?

Do you really think that a news channel would be nice enough to allow people to make their own intelligent choices based on facts even?

And I thought this was outright obvious. Bias is intrinsic in everything man-made.

Was you even there? These 'so called' communists are people too. People who will all be affected by the cuts. You shouldn't have to be a trade unionist to be angry at what the government is doing.

I could even argue that trade unions are lame bureaucratic organisations that only care about their members and the people on top. Especially in regards to my experience with UNISON. They are though one of the few outlets that allow the working class to stand up and fight so we must fight with them.

Because no one really takes them seriously. The BNP are taken slightly more serious because they actually got elected to something (local councils and a MEP)

Send in the army and quell any further protest; its sickening to have the govt held to ransom by left-wing yobs

You really do not have to be particularly left wing to consider Tories "scum". Just possess any character trait other than greed.

And to answer your wider point, because that is not what the demonstrations were about. Some of the people on them may have been sporting communist regalia, but the march was not about them, it was about unnecessary cuts to our most valued services for ideological reasons by a government without a mandate to implement them.

But they were not communists OP they were anarchists with no political agenda other than causing chaos and bringing down the government
Everything the BBC puts out is totally ideological.

It kind of is, in its implications.

If you really think a mainstream political party, and by extension those who vote for it (so 35 - 40% of the country) are "scum", and your reasons for this are generally (misguidedly) class-related, you certainly aren't "centre-left"
