Medical degree classifications?

Should there be degree classifications for medical courses? The last think you want patients to do is not trust you since the 2 other GP's/dentists on the road have their degree with honours and you dont.

I wouldn't assume that the academic high fliers would make the best doctors / dentists but some people might I suppose. I thought that's why medical degrees were pass / fail as people would be put off if they found out their doctor got a third!

Most punters couldn't spell MBBS, even more won't give a flying ****.

Who's degree comes with honours? Since the MBBS (or whatever) is not an honours degree, I'm not sure you can.

Newcastle award them, not sure about on what condition though.
