Why the heck have AQA raised the physics grade boundaries by 3 ums on last year. The paper was hard and isnt 3 makrs extreme?!

71 UMS = 47 raw marks
99 UMS is 67 marks, 101 UMS is 68 marks

Well the go for S1 looked good, but I didn't do mechanics or stats this exam season.
The AS mark is the C1 C2 and S1/M1 mark combined. But you should get individual unit grades as well.
im guessing it does have a big influence if its 1/3 of the AS

okay thanks. I took S1 this june, which might just be my saving grace of getting a decent grade in maths.

??? I meant 72/75 raw marks on C2, the max it goes to is 100 ums

biology-
BIO1 max(60), A(42), B(37), C(33), D(29)
BIO2 max(85), A(60), B(54), C(48), D(42)

English-
LTA1C- max(90), A(59), B(51), C(43), D(35)

history-
HIS1G- max(72), A(54), B(47), C(39), D(32)
HIS2P - max(72), A(50), B(44), C(38), D(32)

got 87 for C1, hoping for 90+ for c2 and 60+ for S1

i doubt i'm getting an A in maths. I'd be satisfied with a B and C2 was my worst., that exam paper in june, esp. the last few questions were so hard! I'm hoping s1 will push up my overall marks..

i know how you're feeling. this year's french paper was the hardest ever and in response to that AQA have made the grade boundaries higher than they've ever been!

Is it just me or is it that all the grade boundaries (so far) that you have checked for your subjects are really high and ****?
