Hey guys, an international non drinker from pendle here.
So basically I have stayed in my room every night when there's a drinking event.
However I do watch my flatmates have a predrink in the kitchen with the reps before they go out.

Honestly I'm not liking the life here so far.
Really afraid that I won't be able to make any close friends as I'm quite bad at socialising as well.
Hope you guys can give me some advice.

Hi there

what college are you in and where are you from? Don't worry too much about everyone drinking because after fresher's there will be more diverse events and societies, and the people who went over the top will realise they need to work and not party too hard.

Some of Pendle is right next to you, just head south. I'm over the road though near to Grad college. :biggrin:

2 – In the bar from 8 we have bar sports tournaments, fifa and wii tournaments and films in the common room along with some great drins deals!

3 – Your might want to make their own plan and stay in with pizza or go out for a meal!
