UEA !!! At the time it was really modern and fashionable, but now it's just seen as a concrete monstrosity. But I think it's been listed and/or has some special architecture status that means they can't change it.
I think UEA and Essex will be battling it out on that one. Neither a pretty sight.

This was my first thought too. It's a brutalist concrete jungle.

The silvery building on the Holloway Road is a shocker, but they also have a nice building in Moorgate.
Am I the only person who actually likes those buildings at UEA?

I can't say I like them but I don't object to them either as they are fine on the inside.

Probably. Though it is a highly rated university and loved by those I have known who went there.
Pics anyone?

The UEA is a monstrosity. Probably the ugliest buildings I've seen anywhere.

Nope, I love them too. My other half does as well... he really likes that kind of 60s architecture with loads of massive blocks sticking out and stuff though. This kind of thing:

Spoiler

I love the way UEA looks, but maybe it's just because I love the atmosphere and place so much that it has good associations for me.

Churchill, yes. King's, on the other hand...
Essex looked awful when I went there a month ago. Northampton isn't great either.
