If you came to Edinburgh you would not be discriminated against, you are ridiculously stupid, I'm sorry.

There are thousands of English people in Edinburgh, many of whom are not discriminated by the Scottish.

People were attacked in Scotland for voting to stay within the Union, and in some cases the English flag was burnt.

When you get to Cambridge (like me), then you might have an argument to call me stupid. Until then I suggest you keep your vulgar personal opinions to yourself.

Possibly. Anybody who votes Green basically hates themselves, so it wouldn't be the first time.

Hahahe, okay you are going to base your entire export economy on whisky and fish, and using oil for your energy and maybe letting the odd tourist visit Edinburgh castle. Yes, I can see Scotland being a very successful country.

I guess the odd copy of Grand Theft Auto will be sold too.
After Edinburgh Castle they'll have a couple of rounds of golf.

I think you'll find we'll use wind for energy.

Equal.. but separate. Hmmm

I think you need to learn the definition of hypocrisy. Saying that Scotland is a parasite to the UK does not mean I hate the Scottish. Learn to distinguish between a critique and discrimination.

You do hate the English. You have just said the UK does not have a "progressive, tolerant and equal society" which is why you voted to leave.
Don't try to pull wool over my eyes.

Scotland is left wing, because as all left wing people, they like to claim other peoples money and property. Hence the term "parasite".

I quote:

"They are a backwards nation who live of [sic] the fruits of the UK and are little more than locusts or parasites."

You did not say that Scotland is a parasite to the UK. You said that Scottish people are "little more than locusts or parasites". Just step out of your close-minded, Daily Mail-reading world for a moment and think about that quote. You must be able to see how it reveals hatred towards Scottish people.

Don't try and tell me how I feel  I am part English, visit England all the time and absolutely love some parts of it. You are the only one here who still holds prejudice. Don't attempt to drag me down to your intolerant and bigoted level.

You literally just said they're not Nazis. Mate, you're the Powell supporter who's reoeatedly judged people based on where they're from this thread, don't call me a nazi. So you're happy deliberately linking SNP to the nazis when in reality they couldn't be more different? Does than not seem a little intellectually dishonest to you?

Yes I am a Powell supporter, Enoch was right. Controversial? Do you actually know what Powellism is? Its not even remotely close to Nazism. Look it up, you might be surprised.

The SNP are nationalist socialists, why not use the term and stop being feared as a Nazi.

Firstly, I don't know of any individual who voted yes based on the argument that they "hate the English" an absolutely nonsense generalised statement.

Secondly, whilst the SNP aren't progress or left by any stretch, they do offer something alternative. I guess you could (long shot) compare it to those who have feel disheartened by the three main political parties and are turning to ukip (I am aware there are other reasons).
Many feel they genuinely have Scotlands best interests at heart.

"undeserving poor" "work for themselves"
I suggest you research the Scottish subsidy myth.

"Benefit of the Tories"
My parents (and most of their generation) would get a kick out of that one.

The only person in this thread who has "vulgar personal opinions" is you. The nonsense that you have been expressing is completely ridiculous.

I had the thought that you were <15 years old, due to your lack of common sense. I am genuinely surprised that a brilliant institution would enrol such a narrow-minded individual such as yourself.

Great, so you are simultaneously campaign for greater use of renewable energy, and sell oil off to the highest bidder to use for their domestic consumption. Hypocritical or not?
I personally don't think Labour have got used to being second in Scotland.

SNP are 4 tines larger than the Scottish Conservatives, the Scottish Labour Party and the Scotish Liberal Democrats put together. Yet in the 2014 referendum on Scottish independence 56% of people voted against independence. Isn't independence the main idea behind the SNP? How can it be so large when the majority of people don't want independence? What am I missing here?

Because the SNP is the only party in Scotland which gives a damn about the people in Scotland.
They are a left of center party, who are not just a single issue party.

Scottish people and therefore Scotland are Parasites in the form that they take more than they give.

I don't care if you are a member of the 5th column, I wish Scottish people would make up their mind whether to be in or out of the Union. No devolution and no exceptions.

As I recall, there were no reported attacks on "no" voters by "yes" voters as a result of the contrasting views.

Whats hypocritical about profiting from wind, wave, nuclear and oil at the same time? :s-smilie:

Because it gives a wildly inaccurate impression. I'm not saying Powell = Nazi, but he was certainly a lot closer than the SNP. I don't "fear" being seen as a nazi because it's downright absurd, I'm just saying calling the SNP national socialists (which blatantly refers to the Nazi party) is petty and ridiculous.

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear oh dear.

The SNP's politics are left-of center. It's a "national" in the sense that it wants to bring about Scotland's seperation from Britain, but if you consider the SNP as a nationalist party, what about UKIP, Plaid, Tory (with that one nation Tory party), and even Labour who all constantly appeal to the nation. Every party has to be "national" in its outlook, or it wouldn't have success outside of a small region.

The SNP can not be termed a nazi party. At all.

I thought the SNP were ****ting themselves about climate change? Don't you think they should leave fossil fuels in the ground if they are that serious about it?
