How does one become a Hard Working Person?

So Tories have been using the phase "Hard Working People" for the last 5 years. Could the Tory supporters and card carrying members please tell me and the viewers who are reading the thread what a Hard Working Person is?

Lets say your a disabled person but you claim tax credits because your wage is still small. Does claiming tax credits make you a scrounger? Or does it make you half way between a scrounger and Striver?

Striver Scrounger rank maybe?

Is it possible to be disabled and a hard working person?

When does one earn the right not to be called a Pleb by other Hard Working People who are Tories?

Cheers.
It is a weasel word beloved of politicians and papers of a certain political hue. One becomes hard working by merely identifying as such. A hard working person is the modern form of the petite bourgeoisie.

First of all you must be a member of a family. Politicians do not refer to hardworking people. There is no such thing as a hardworking singleton. Only families are hardworking.

It is by no means only the Tories on this bandwagon.
