That Cambridge study you quoted clearly said compulsive users, not all or the average user. And the 50% figure is even among those compulsive ones only. And male only. You can get addicted to anything and that'd be bad for you.

Tor can be used to bypass those blocks imposed governments.

You do realise that if the Government shut down the entire internet that the UK would collapse into anarchy in a matter of hours if not minutes.

Not so. Almost all companies and businesses I know have manual back up systems in case of shut down of the net.

If they do not, then they do not really produce any product that is essential to us because if they did, they would have back up systems.

And to just sit back as parents and members of a society, when so many bad things are happening to so many children, is quite bad and if a society lets that evil continue without fighting to reduce the harm, --- then it is showing that it is not a moral society.
