Importance of application date

Hey there,

I want to apply for a master in economics at UCL, LSE and Cambridge. I did a good bachelor at the best school in Switzerland and an exchange at Warwick. Unfortunately, I will not be able to complete my application until early january. Is that too late for an easy entry to the above-mentioned universities? Is the probability to be admitted significantly higher when applying in december or even earlier?

I don't know whether early applications are better, however I do have some friends that sent off applications in January for the 2015 entry and were accepted for UCL so it won't be too late!
