-9.5 -9.5 or something similar. About as far to the left as you can get without being Karl Marx. Also known as being a hippy.

Apparently I'm authoritarian left. That makes me a communist right? Bring on the gulags, I guess :frown::s-smilie:

Got a little bit more authoritarian but still as left-wing as ever, up the workers!

Now I think it's working

Moved a bit further right and a bit more authoritarian since last taking it, but it is probably just slight changes in the answers and nothing meaningful.

I don't understand how anyone can manage to score so far right as this, the questions are written in such a centre-left way. I mean come on, I know the question is horribly biased but surely even right-wingers believe "globalisation should serve humanity rather than multinational corporations"...?!

Doesn't matter how the question is written, they all have a left/right or liberal/Authoritarian scale, and must be set so that getting strongly x for all the correct questions gets 10

And I don't really give a damn about humanity as a whole, I only have so many decades on this planet so want that to be the best for me . Ultimately comes out hard right.

And before you say anything else, yes, I am rather heartless.

I really do not agree with the position of Greens on this chart. They are really not a libertarian party. As much as they "sanitized" there manifesto in 2014 there party policy has always been based on punitive taxes for those who do not agree with them. As much as they don't have a stance to monitor us in our homes or criminalise as many people in society as possible like the tories do they would happly see people who disagree with them FORCED to comply via punitive taxes.
The problem with the questionaire is that for some questions aren't very good. For example you could agree that something is true but not agree that it is a good thing and vice versa.
Military action that defies international law is sometimes justified.

I hope people answered this question knowing what the internat'l law actually is, so they know wtf they're agreeing/disagreeing with.

I also hope people know cause and effect of inflation...

And the question about, "my race is superior" doesn't work because a black saying that would probably make them way left, as a white saying it would make them way right (wrong).

And the thing about us appreciating large corps, no. Corps say they bring the jobs, but that's bull****; they don't care about jobs for others; they care about their profit; they don't even pay people properly who work in their businesses rofl. So I had to disagree with "What's good for the most successful corporations is always, ultimately, good for all of us." Even though I agree with education should be primarily for jobs....

"Multinational companies are unethically exploiting the plant genetic resources of developing countries."

Hell ****ing yes!!!!

Anyway...

Damn. Almost Gandhi.

So many lefties :/

Ain't it beautiful?

I'm further to the left than the greens according to this but I'm not. No way.

The main problem with the questions I think is that there is no neutral response.

Thus on too many occaisions I was forced to agree with something that I'm not sure about.

( An unforeseen benefit of doing this test is that my score is almost identical to my last eye test score and reminds me that I'm overdue to get my eyes examined  )

While I don't want to get hung up on a particular question I don't understand why you would think multinational corporation is better for you than humanity. You are a human, after all, and you probably don't own a multinational

I am heartless too which is why I have so little faith in people to act in anything but their own interests: therefore, much of the economy requires heavy regulation and democratic oversight.

Every party taxes people who don't agree with them because taxes are one of the main ways we intervene in the economy, and all parties believe their economic positions are the most correct. For example the Tories raise VAT every time because they don't think poor people should be allowed to buy any luxuries, or to put it in more cynical terms, because the sort of people affected by this don't vote Tory anyway.

I'm for multinationals because like it or not they create jobs and put vital money in our economy.

Almost exactly on me, (I'm a little more liberal) and right in the green/socialist range. Which is scary.
