Exam technique for AQA Economics

I didn't finish the ECON2 paper in time last year - I managed a third of a page typed in what I think is size 11 font; I generally find myself going into quite a lot of detail, so I'm trying to cut it down.

When the question asks you to refer to the "effect on UK macroeconomic performance", my school teaches us to try and do one point for each of the four macroeconomic objectives.

Just wondering how other people interpret this - I'm considering only aiming for the three that are most relevant so I have time to finish - would you do the same?
