Accidentally made a small hole in the bar code in the exam...

This was for maths but now I'm worried they won't be able to scan it...Is the scanner really sensitive or should I not worry about it?
How did you do your exam already? GCSE or A-level
RIP. You are doomed.
Doooooooomed I say.
doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed!

No. Barcodes can be read anywhere along their height. And even if you managed to rip the entire barcode out, I imagine the worst that'd happen is it'd be put into a pile to be manually sorted.

Alevel
im guessing this isnt as level maths as i havent done mine yet, but in response to your question barcodes would need a large hole to make it un-readable. and lets say you brought water into the exam and miraculously only spilt water on the barcode, as long as your centre/candidate number can be read it'll be fine as they can check what exams you've taken to ensure that the paper is yours. so i shouldnt worry if i were you
