Hi! I am Lily, I am a teenage girl. I'm also transgender, which I am proud of, but that doesn't define me. I'm also a fashion enthusiast, shopaholic and a wannabe makeup artist, among other things. Feel free to ask me questions about my being transgender and my transition, or to share your own experiences.
What was your name before you transitioned? Post op or pre? What's the process, do they start you on hrt and then op or....? When did you know? Do you believe that being born in the opposite sex to what you are know has benefited you?
Hey! How are you doing? I'm curious to know - how does someone realise they're transgender?
I have always known that I wanted to be a girl and have always wanted feminine clothes, toys etc. As soon as I discovered the term transgender about six years ago its something I've strongly identified as. So in my case it was a sudden realisation as much as it was just a part of me. xx
Hi! Its awesome that you've started a thread like this. Welcome to TSR, and like the above user said - don't let anything bring you down. Be proud of who you are!

My birth name was Liam. I am pre-op. I am on the waiting list for the gender identity clinic who will start me on HRT which will increase in dose over time. I've always known on a subconscious level. I came to the complete realisation about 6 years ago maybe. I really think being born in the wrong sex has been a disadvantage because for a long time it caused a lot of self hate and anxiety to the point where I became very clinically depressed, although since coming out and embracing my true self I have become a lot happier xxx
