Here's my first and current car. (Purchased Jan 2015)
- 2007 1.2 Fiat Grande Punto. Bought at 63000 miles, now clocked over 75000

Insurance is cheap with my first year being £750 with Tesco Bank Box, after two years, it's now £560.

that's definitely true. That's the first car for everyone. Toddlers have so much fun
BMW (E36) 316i Compact. Wish it had been a 318, but at least it was RWD. Great little car.

Hey all, I have recently passed my driving test and now im on the path of looking to get my first car. 😀

Sooo.... what was your first car, post a picture if you can.😊
What are the benefits and negatives of your first car, would you recommend it?🤔

My first car was a fiat punto.
I seriously wouldnt recommend one. It was that unreliable it was unreal and i had that many problems with it that i only kept it 6 months.
My 2nd car however was a nissan micra. That was an amazing car and was bomb proof.

Tbf I wouldn't recommend a fiat. Not the most reliable things

First car was a Fiat Punto (1.2) then I get a corsa (1.0) and now I have a Skoda Fabia (1.9) The fabia is my favourite! It's diesel, and so much faster. Absolute dream to drive and despite being older than both the other cars I've had, is the most mechanically sound and reliable! It's also really cheap to run - £40 fills the tank up and lasts me a week. Fits two golden retrievers in the boot as well, so spacious for a hatchback! I love it. My baby

I have one of these as my first car
Same colour and rims but only a 3 door

Great little car, even if it's slow as anything!

PUNTO CREW. See my picture. Same rims and 1.2L 69 BHP engine. Loves a rev though
This isn't my car, but the spec I had-
BMW E46 330d- This was my first car I used to learn in, 190k miles but drove like a dream and I did 3k+ miles on it learning- which was almost all of my Uk learning, the rest I did outside the uk. I did my test in it and, in typical bmw fashion, my minors were for tailgating, pulling up to a junction too fast, an indicator minor and stopping in an inappropriate location.

I loved it so much I want to get another, but with a smaller engine as I can no longer insure that as a passed driver due to the 3.0l and the torque etc.
