Salams nice to meet you.
Would it have been nicer if I said "I still understand the basic convention of how non muslims socialise." ? It's the same thing in my eyes but thanks for the friendly tip jzkk
It would be wrong to say "british people" as I am british... So I say kuffar to specifically mean those who do not believe in Islam.
Stop overthinking everything.
Majority of British people are not muslims though so you can perfectly get away with saying British people. You're the exception, not us here. And just so you know, I'm not attacking muslims, I'm just saying I know what kuffar means and it's not the most pleasant of words to use.

@AishaGirl I hope the preceding page of posts manages to convince even you that your troublemaking posts around TSR are casing a degree of disquiet. You are getting yourself quite a bad reputation, and not enhancing the reputation of the more outpsoken muslims on this site
You don't have to apologise I'm sorry if I sounded rude. You're only 17, I'm just telling you that you have freedom of speech it's not nice to insult people. You can just say non-believers instead or English people
Anyway, if you don't drink, that doesn't mean you won't be able to socialise!! I personally love going to parties sober because then I get see all the crazy sh** people do and when people forget about in the morning, I love to remind them of what happened at the party. Plus if you can drive and you stay sober, everyone will be wanting you to be their best friend.

My words should not be used to judge other Muslims... If I say something out of line by all means call me out on it however I'm not going to shy away and agree with some of the things I hear being said on this forum just because I worry what the non muslims may think of me.
Just because you may not agree with what I say does not make them trouble making... To be honest the language I use is nothing compared to some of the derogatory language used by non muslims to attack me in various posts.
I've been insulted quite a fair bit since being here however I don't let that effect my judgement of others.
Kuffar means non believers, what are you talking about? It's a perfectly acceptable term and an accurate term to use.
kuffar : http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Kuffar "Also spelled 'kafir' or 'kaffir', Kuffar is a highly derogatory Arabic term used to refer to non-Muslims, though it is usually directed less against "People of the Book" (Christians and Jews) and more against others (Hindus, Buddhists, Shintoists, etc)."
