Updated prediction:

Labour will hold both, barely and with a low turnout. The Tories will come second in both too.

Nuttall is actually in this scene. He is precisely hidden behind Trump, but **he was there**, no question.

High Copeland turnout and Tories by 1000+, low Stoke and Labour by 3000.
I don't think UKIP are going to do as well in these elections as people think.

A brief pause to celebrate the Green Party knocking out another UKIP councillor.

The Mail should be registered as a donor for UKIP in the Stoke campaign.

I'm already thinking about who the next UKIP leader will be, after Monsieur Farage does another stint 'until a permanent leader can be found'.

Well, their memory is quite short if they think this is the dirtiest by-election and "both respected, conscientious MPs" = we hated them until they resigned and caused Corbyn a problem. To the Daily Heil, the only good Labour MP is an ex-Labour MP.

You could also add the Tories who, despite being very close to UKIP at the GE don't seem to be bothering with this one.

 "I'm just temporarily standing in."

Wouldn't surprise me if Farage wasn't behind the leaks of Nuttall's silly lies.

Yes, that had crossed my mind too. First Diane, then Paul. Who will win his approbation I wonder?
I might have missed something here.
I dislike UKIP, but if they win the Stoke election isn't that just...y'know, the flow of democracy?
No use getting upset and flustered about it, if this is just the will of the people and popular vote.

That's genuinel astonishing, going from practically 'far-right' to practically 'far-left'.
Not really - turnout is often low and when one 'protest vote' party turns out to be useless, another one often wins.

Only 24 hours or so until the polls close in Copeland and Stoke.

Who's excited to see the Tories crush Labour in Copeland.

It's very sad how much I'm looking forward to it 😂

Probably explains why I'm single...
Just seen this, bloody hilarious particularly the Christian people's party's candidate.

HA! I can definitely agree, I have been reading news articles about it every day for the past few weeks.

I'm not staying up for it tho, it's too late when I have to be up at crack of dawn. But my phone will be out as soon as my eyes open.

It will be interesting to see the stats/psephology of the results. I really hope there is a big swing from Lab --> UKIP like there was in Richmond Park from Various Parties ----> LIB DEM.

However, I have a weird feeling of doubt if the swing will be enough.

I think it's accurate to say that CON will GAIN from LAB in COPE tho.

People think just because Stoke has been held for half a century, it will be held for eternity. Times have changed...

Just take a look at Dundee West (I posted this link on the 1st or 2nd page but I'm posting it again for reference sake..) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dundee_West_(UK_Parliament_constituency) where LAB held since 1950 until 2015 when SNP GAIN from LAB. LAB got absolutely wiped out.

Maybe the same will happen in Stoke tomorrow morning?

What's the most redpilled party?
Which party will make Britain progress in terms of science, technology, maths, engineering?

Doubt it. England's not really in the same scale in terms of post-referendum mentalness as Scotland. But above all, the chief distinction is that everyone knew for years ahead of the actual election that Labour would get absolutely buggered in Dundee the next time an election came about. That's not the same here.
