Yes. So why don't you take their advice? Apply for roles that you're qualified for.

This is the problem with just relying on the JobCentre. They are often so overworked that they will struggle to find the time to give complex advice and improvements to your CV. I bet you don't get long to see an adviser as they are so busy. Why not approach the National Careers Service for some more in-depth advice about your CV?
