Uni accommodation
So my girlfriend is starting uni this September in Lincoln and we were just wondering if she had to stay on uni ground accommodation wise...I am in the RAF and I am based in Cranwell at the moment (in Lincoln) and we just thought we'd get our own little place rather than her staying in student accommodation...is that allowed for her first year or is there some sort of unwritten rule?

It is fine. She wont have as much socialising with first years though, so if she wants to make friends she will have to use other channels. You will have to pay council tax.
