Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence BSc vs Masters in AI???
Would you rather take 4 years of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence BSc than 1 year of Masters in Artificial Intelligence ? Or the opposite.? Or would both provide the same content?
If I've interpreted your post correctly, you're considering either a 4 year integrated masters vs a 3 year BSc + 1 year MSc vs just a BSc?
I would personally avoid the 4 year integrated masters, I've heard when people do these it essentially feels like just another year of undergraduate study, which it sort of is as its only 120 credits albeit at level 7.
I'd recommend doing the 3 year BSc and then look into doing a specialist 1 year MSc which is 180 credits and will be far more specialised than the final year of an integrated masters, whilst you'll still have solid core knowledge from your BSc.

Thank you so much for your time! I think I did not explain my situation more thoroughly. So here's my issue:
I'm thinking of taking BSc Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (in Scotland, uni bachelor degrees are 4 years and so integrated masters would be 5 years - but that's not what I'm willing to do), but I'm not sure of the depth of the AI part would be in bachelors. In addition, if I take AI and Cs for my Bachelors, I do not want to specialise in the same field (AI) - especially if the masters does not go much deeper than what would be taught in Bachelor's.
Alternatively, I'm thinking of taking BSc Computer Science and some other joint program (like Electronics, Management Science, or Math - right now I think I prefer doing it with Management Science, which goes a bit into Business studies but not fully as my degree would be concentrated on the cs part), and then I would specialise in say Artificial intelligence for my masters.
I'm just lost over which course of action to take, and I'm not sure how choosing one over the other would impact me later.
Any further suggestions or pieces of advice?
