i cant find any work experience!

im in year 12 btw so its quite relevant.
ive signed up to so many but not accepted into any, but now im seeing people in my 6thform already accepted to 4 while i got 0! and when i try looking for my own online theres nothing else, only ads for part time jobs(not work experience). ive done a bit of volunteering at soup kitchens and shelters though since they dont need applications. i still feel so behind because of this and i dont think theres anything i can do about it, so i wonder if uni will care whether ive done work experience or not..... how doomed am i?

What course?

Unless you're applying for medicine/dentistry/vetinary etc. then you needn't worry.

None. You don't need work experience for law or engineering courses.

It's not something universities expect at all, especially considering how hard it is to get relevant experience in these two sectors. You can express your interest by reading books, going to guest lectures etc.

thats a relief! im currently reading books to do with them, hoping its enough for now even though my 6thform emphasises work experience so much
