Went back to her?
He wanted to be with somebody else, somebody give was "in love " with since he met her. Couldn't have her due to his own faults and was not mature enough to actually have a conversation with her and sort it out.
Still "loved her" but decided to escape the situation than fix it even though the girl was willing to fix it. So she remained the "one that got away" or the "one whom he almost had but couldn't due to 1 silly mistake".
Moves on to a new girl replacing the old one, gets his sexual frustration eased and ego boost, with no regrets for what he did, thinks the new girl is better qnd experiences fun and sexual times with her, but slowly begins to understand that he was wrong and he shouldn't have acted like that with her as his relationship with the new girl lacked "love and genuine attraction" from BOTH sides.
Eventually, he reconnects with the old one who was still kind and open to listening to his side of the story and he changes his mind and goes back to her.
What do you think of this situation? Why did he go back to her?

Because he knows he can have both women. Don’t give him the satisfaction. Ditch him and never look back.
