Hi, so I don't come from an Egyptology or ancient civilisations archaeological background and more Paleolithic.
However, I did an EPQ not too long ago...
The suggestion by Edminzodo will most likely be much more helpful comments than I will be. Definitely, do some more research may be thinking about, -- --
Change: how did X discovery change archaeology/knowledge of Egypt etc...
-
Media: how ancient Egyptians are represented or misrepresented in the media?
-
Sources - The different type of sources, eg. how did the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb change (or didn't) change understandings / impact the past. Would the knowledge we have now be possible without [insert source eg. art, hieroglyphs, pots, remains etc]
-
Ethics: The ethics at displaying Egyptian (or any culture) artefacts and biofacts (bones/remains) in museums outside of Egypt (eg, the recent tour of Tutankhamun) or focuses on a specific museum eg. British Museum or Ashmolean.
but in the end... you have to write it and research it and make sure you do something, you enjoy and want to research. don't make your question too vague but also ensure you have some leeway.
As I am no use when it comes to Egyptology. I will comment some for archaeological resources if you want to read some literature look for open access articles/reports. I have tried to remember where I've seen open access stuff

I'm sure whatever you think of will be good!
