As far as career prospects go they are virtually equal.

Is there anything in particular you want in a university/course?

Probably a diverse university so I can make similar POC friends and a good area. I’ve seen on the league table that Leeds is 13th and Manchester is around 22nd I think

Don’t bother with league tables. See point 5 here: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6247090

I’m struggling to find data on Manchester’s student diversity, but for Leeds 16.3% of home students are BME and 93.5% of internationals. Combined you’ll have a lot of BME people on campus. Honestly, I imagine it will be a reasonably similar story for Manchester.

“Good area” is subjective and will depend on the accommodation you choose.
