I have received an offer from Worcester for 280 points.
In the prospectus it said the entry requirements were 220 - 260 points.
Are they allowed to give you an higher offer than their entry requirements?

They are, and they frequently do. They also often change their minds about typical entry requirments without notice.

Unfortunately they can. It's their typical offer, so that doesn't guarantee that you'll get that offer. It's subject to change depending on the number of applicants and the standard of the applicants that year.
