i went into the Bank of Scotland yesterday and was told it would take 10 working days to activate an account. need to have passport, accommodation contract, proof of course and proof of residence. also, they won't be giving a switch card until i have been an account holder for 6 months, only given a cash flow card. bit of a pain really, especially the long wait.
anyone have any different experiences?
