accounting involve lots of maths?

i just got an offer from Canterbury Christ Church university through clearing to do accounting and finance.

just wanted to know if this degree involves lots of complicated maths, i got a U in Maths at AS level and a D in economics at A2, and only chose this course because all the places for history were full. so, please inform me on the level of maths that this course requires and if you think i will be able to cope, i really did struglle with maths at AS.

Also, what is canterbury like for anyone who has been there previously? are there good facilities and good social/nightlife?

thank you
Is your degree Bsc or BA?

Bsc degrees tend to be more quantitaive hence more maths involved. BA degrees tend to have less maths involved.
