Is It Good To Picture The Worst Case Scenario When Revising For Exams?

Hi,

Now that exam season is fast approaching :frown:, I thought it would be a good time to start revision or finish the A2 content for the upcoming exams.

I have 8 exams in the summer, some of which are resits.

Now the question is, in order to do well is it advisible to think of the worst case scenario?

Because I am that type of person who worries a lot.
Use it to motivate and actually prevent your fears from occuring

If the worst case scenario is failure you have a terrible imagination. What if you got eaten by a bear OP, what then??

Simple.
If it makes you work harder then its good.
If however you loose hope, then its not.

Hey theeere! Same position as you atm, doing A2 finals in May/June.

Ive always been a 'look at the worst scenario and scare yourself into working kind' and as such got low grades at AS Jan and in June.

For the Jan A2 exams i decided to STOP! and think I CAN DO THIS SHIZZ!

Positive thinking is something ridiculous like 70% of success..

and surprise surprise i got the highest grades ive got this January.

To conclude - dont be a negger! Be POSITIIIVEE!! if you believe you can succeed you will! simples!
