I'd put that in the entry. Otherwise 150kg is VERY impressive farmers. Like Inters competition level...

150kg farmers is 150kg per hand. That's probably what you get at like England's strongest man level.

Most I've ever done is 100kg.

Nah I don't find them very good for carry over, just going to pause everything with a deadstop. I'm going to deload to 85kg and work my way up doing pause work. Going to work on widening my grip, a thumb width from the inside of the knurlimg is still too narrow imo. I'm too broad meaning it feels like a slightly wider CGBP instead, no real pec recruitment atm.

What is your bench/chest goal? Out of curiosity.

One day I want to compete in some powerlifting/ strongman if my back and knee ever decide to fix.
Hence the pause work.
Would like 100 for 5 paused reps by the end of summer.

Edit: Currently on a train to Norwich, going for a week.
Quite tired today.. Got in at 4 am from Oceana.

just touch the bar to chest and fix the grip so that your forearms are vertical. this is the most neutral grip to start with

I'm inside the rings. Small pinky finger touching the ring

Yeah I'm well inside that, will sit the bar on my chest next time I bench and have a play.

Giggity goo.

I'm a good 1/2 - 1 inch inside the rings. Once I go wider than that I start to get shoulder/bicep pain when I lift heavy.
3 x 1:30 planks
Have to stop for 2-3 secs about 1:10 on the second and third set due to shoulders burning.. Any ideas how to overcome this?

Unexpected training today. Teaching the gf squat, deadlift and DB OHP
She's been taught to front squat and can do so well, she's got long lemurs and hence she found the back squat impossible to reach depth.
Front squatted 40kg for 2 x 5 and 1 x 3
She did 70kg x 3 and 80kg for 1 for DL and DB OHPd the 12.5kgs DBs for 3 x 7
Not bad for a girl tbh who's only lifted a handful of times before!

DB OHP
20kgs 1 x 10
22.5kgs 1 x 7
25kgs 1 x 7

Switch to OHP in gfs rest period
40kg 1 x 5
50kg 1 x 5
55kg 1 x 4
60kg 2 x 3
65kg 1 x 1 =PB I think. Wad really easy and light
70kg 2 x f

Snatch grip DL
Candito told me to + it'd be touch and go whether there was enough weight
40kg 1 x 5
60kg 1 x 5
80kg 1 x 5
[PB] 110kg 1 x 5 PB
A cheap easy PB

Blaha raises
10kg DBs 3 x 8

Some facepulls to finish

Exactly how many times is "a handful of times"? If its genuinely <5 times shes pretty damn strong for an untrained girl!

4 times previous she says, she went once with a friend who's doing sports science and is a strong guy at Xmas, went 3 times last summer

Form was good front squatting, had a tendency to not quite reach parallel unless I said "lower" lol
