Mechanical engineering QMUL vs Nottingham

This is my first thread on tsr and I would appreciate if you guys could help me out.
Basically I have got all my offers for mechanical engineering and I have cut down to two universities: Queen Mary UOL and Uni of Nottingham.
I find it hard to make up my mind, they are both part of the Russel Group and they have both got a strong engineering department.
Any suggestions or past experiences of students would be greatly appreciated.

Are you a student at Nottingham? what do you think of the social aspect? hows the nightlife etc

Excellent, though I'm not the best to ask being t total. There's loads of clubs and bars and a student club night every night of the week.
