The Student Room Group

Assesment

Hello,

I'm an EU student, living in UK for three years. Applying for student finance for the first time for 13/14. I made a mistake on my online application stating that I've been self supportive for past three years.
Then I sent that form (http://www.sfengland.slc.co.uk/media/570863/sfe_nmt_mt_1314_d.pdf) by post to make this change.

Now, my parents are struggling with their form (http://www.sfengland.slc.co.uk/media/559149/sfe_pff2_1314_d.pdf).
In section 6, do they need to state my income? If yes, in which question? It seems that none of them are relevant to me.

Also, I received an email asking for evidence. It says I can check what I need to send on my SFE account. But as I filled my online application wrong it asks for evidence that no longer applies to me. Do I need to send any more than proof of ID?

Finally, I sent my paper application about a week ago. Will these changes I made appear on my online account? How long will it take? If not, will I get any notification that you received my new application?

Thank you,
MT
Hi MT,

On the parental forms only parent's income information is required, not yours.

Without having access to your application details it's difficult to let you know which evidence is required or isn't required so I would suggest you speak with an adviser on 0845 300 5090 to clarify.

With regard to changes via a paper form these will take around 3 weeks from the date the form was received for them to show on your account.

Hope this helps,
Mark-Lee
