OU - BA Hons - Health and social care - adults

hi there,

my other half has applied to do the above degree with the Open uni, yet she does not know what jobs she can get with this, to me without further study ie: social work or nursing, the degree is seems pretty useless, unless you want to work in a care home, and no offence to care assistants but the job don't really need qualifications.

So my question is what jobs would be possible from such a degree

No offense taken. She can progress onto another course at a brick university to do a Masters in a health and social care setting. It all depends what she is aiming to do!

Bear in mind also that a hefty percentage of graduate jobs are open to graduates in any discipline - having a degree in any subject opens up a range of opportunities.
