Is teaching an exemption course?
Hello,
I have just studied 3 years in Adult Nursing (BA Hons) however I will come out of this with a Dip(HE) in a health and social care. I previously studied for 1year prior to this study but left the university.
I was thinking of applying on to start my primary teacher training at the uni of Chester full time. I was wondering if I would still get funding even though I have prior study that was funded by SFE.

Hi there,
You would be eligible if it is a PGCE course that leads to a QTS, as that is an exception to previous study and equal level qualification rules.
