Only the adult oyster I'm afraid. If you get the 16-25 railcard you are able to get 1/3 off your tube fairs though.

If you're doing an Apprenticeship during your gap year you can get an Apprentice Oyster Card which gives you 30% off. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/27809.aspx

If you're not doing an Apprenticeship you're going to have to buy a normal Oyster card and pay full price, and won't be eligible for any discount Oyster cards sadly!

Once you're a student again though in September 2014, you will be eligible to apply for an 18+ Student Oyster card which gives you 30% off also like the Apprentice Oyster card. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/14312.aspx

They decide whether or not they'll pay you a travel bursary. But the choice is totally up to them sadly, so be expected to have to pay adult fare every time you travel.

It's no problem. I'm sure they'll be quite understanding about it, so don't worry too much. I'm sure they understand how expensive transport costs can be too!
