Am I going to need a job?!!?
Okay, so I'm starting Kingston university in the coming September and the plan was always that I could transfer my current job to Kingston. However, I'm not sure I'm going to want a job, especially as it'd be weekends and I wouldn't be able to come home often and what not. But my question is, am I going to need a job? I get the maximum loan and grant but will it be enough??? Does any body know the average annual sort of living cost?
Add you your loan and grant together. Minus the cost of living in halls. Divide by the number of weeks you will spend at university. Kingston should have the date for next year on their website and you'll need to work about how many weeks that adds up to. Do all that and it will give you a weekly budget. From there you can look at whether or not it will be feasible to live on that amount and whether you'll need a job to top up your income.
