Can I apply to another university in my gap year?

I got an offer from the University of York for deferred entry (2016) but I'd like to apply for Oxbridge in my gap year. Can I do this after accepting the offer from York?

No. You have to reject York before beginning a new application next year

Yes, you can apply as normal next year, provided you reject the York offer.
