Urgent-working out scale-geo/maths

I'm doing an important essay for my geography coursework and it contains an image of the map of the Earth. The criteria for my essay says I have to include SCALE! I'm unsure how to do this. The radius of my map's earth is 6cm. I need to compare it to the actual size of the Earth which has a radius of 6,371 km, and write the scale on the side! Someone, please help me how to do this!!! Due tomorrow and this is the final thing i need to do
6cm:6.371km
Therefore
1cm:1.062km
