Unfairly permanently excluded from sixth form academy, what do I do?

My sixth form is notorious for handing out permanently exclusions for silly reasons. I have been permanently excluded because I called in sick to school and said I will come in at 12 and I did not. Now I have no college because they permanently excluded me.

It's all very silly but now I am in my second year of A levels applying to colleges and not receiving any information. I want to appeal against this, even just to make a point to the sixth form.

I have no clue how to go about doing this.

Help me please.

Wait was this the first time you didn't come in or have you been doing this for a while?

If it is the first time then that is really stupid but if you have been doing this for a while its not surprising.

If it's happened before, how many times?
If this is like the first time it's happened... ring up your local council. If that's your first time, or even second or third then that's ridiculous. At least give you a warning, not randomly permanently exclude you.

Is this a very selective sixth form or something? If they do that to everyone for petty things like that, then they'll have no one left ! paha
What else have you done?
I'm sorry, but i refuse to believe that a good student would get excluded for skipping one day of school.
I'm not saying it wasn't an unfair exclusion, as i don't know all the ins and outs, but I'm guessing you're not giving us the whole story here.
If this one day of skipping school was the last in a long string of small-ish problems such as missing school for no good reason, rudeness, not completely work etc, then the school is completely justified in excluding you.

Maybe try contacting the local council?
Try getting your parents to talk to the headmaster.

Yeah sorry I admit ive been pretty vague. I have a stomach condition which causes me to be late for a lot of mornings, but not the majority of my mornings. My school has been very anal about being late. I had a meeting with my teachers and we agreed that I can come to school late as long as I call in every morning, provided that it is the cause of my stomach condition.

I called in, said Ill come at 12, didnt. Kicked out.

Im just wondering how to appeal, not sure how to

because the school is an academy, government cant do crap and appeals can only be done through the school which is useless.

i ended up paying to be an external candidate at that sixth form, as they are the only school that will do the exams for the courses im studying for. Im staying at home to study now, with a couple of private tutors and self studying - and will take the exams at the school.

on the bright side, i dont have to wake up early anymore.
You must have done something more wrong if that is your first time, judging by the last line of your last response you don't even sound bothered
