So, I went to university for a year at Warwick and completed the year but decided to defer 2nd year and stay at home to figure out what I could do instead, and I have now decided to apply to York through clearing but last year I was told that I couldn't go into first year at york because having already completed a year of languages I would be at an unfair advantage, but I also couldn't go into 2nd year because york does an extra module that warwick doesn't, so that would put me behind. I really want to get in this time and I don't know if i should email york and ask them if it would be a problem me having already done a year of uni or say something about it in my personal statement and what i should say about it to make it more positive and not a hindrance to me getting in. Any advice would be really helpful
Do you think parents should charge rent?
