Clearing 2007

At the moment, im a nervous wreck dreading the 16th. Ive got a firm choice in Swansea university for Business Economics BA but i suspect that i may miss it and apply through clearing. Wat i want to know is how flexible are the universities with the requirements for clearing and is it as easy as picking up the phone and telling them your interested for a place?

Yes, it is a case as being up the phone. Admittedly it was a friend of a friend's family... but, the eldest got bad results, came home, was bitterly disappointed, didn't bother phoning round until the evening, and ended up stuck somewhere she hated. The younger one, two years later, equally failed. But, he got on the mobile, and went through clearing, and got a place at a really good uni... only by applying through to clearing almost as soon as receiving his poor results. But, don't fret... fingers crossed you'll find all this clearing worrying utterly and entirely unnecessary.
