Fakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk its been exactly a year today since ive started this blog, and damn it only feels like I started this yesterday! Ive come a long way, and some how or another, I think ive made it!Thank you to everyone who’s been here for me, grilled me, gave me advice and been a shoulder to cry on too, you know who you are and I love you for it, ever so much Day 365, 6/07/2018 Today was lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng, I had the training again with the lads from the army, this time, in the uniform and it was like a example of what a standard day at camp would be like.
I had to get there for 7:30am for a brefing and we started at 8am, so I had breaky at like 6am, porridge, fruit and milk, 546 calories
When I got there, all the lads were waiting for me and my colleague from work, Our first drill was to run 2 miles, well we jogged anyway, and then 20 pressups and sit ups.
Then they split us into groups, and had 15kg sand bags in each hand and were told to walk to the wall and back, it was around 5m from the start, first team to finish one. Now this sounds easy, but fml was this hard.
Thennnn we had the pullups, they have these outdoor bars with a stool (thank****) and you just hang there, the longer you stay on, the better, and then we had to finish off with 10 or more pullups, whoever didn’t get any more than 10 didn’t get cake, which was fair I guess. I got 11, phew, my arms were aching anyway so im surprised I got 11 anyway
By the time we got this done, it was lunch timmmeee
my fav time of the day
ngl the food there was amazing, it was like a mini buffet there
but I had to eat carefully, cuz food and then training straight after are a red flag for throwing up lmao, around 762 caloires
Then was the all famous assault course. This had ropes, walls, huge tyres to lift and flip, monkey bars to get across, a net to crawl through, all kinds of weird obstables to get to the finish line! I came at a respectbale 4
th place out of 10 of us, not bad ay? the others where army lads so theyre used to this **** haha
thennnnnnn we went for a walk, not just any old walk, a walk with this huge ass back packs packed with sandbags to imitate an actual backpack, and we walked……for a good two hours, uphill, downhill, through the foresty bit and then back to camp… I legit collapsed when I got back
I just lay there on the grass while the guys unpacked lmao
We finished the training around 5pm and after that theres a common room type thing were theres a hugggeeee tv, xbox1, Wii, and a kitchen (everyone just ordered take away) and beanbags, these giant bed things to chill on, just a very cool, modernized hangout spot to chill before everyone hits their rooms, they also have showers and cool changing rooms there too, so I showered and borrowed one of the lads rooms to get changed in, and borrowed his clothes too
Since I don’t live far, I can go home after spending time with the lads
so I had dinner with the boys and then went home. We had Chinese

I got home, showered again, love island with milk and now I get to sleep, boy am I sore.
